Cuddleston Staffords

Cuddleston Staffords is a small, highly selective, in-home Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeder located in South East Queensland. Established in 2020, our kennel is built on decades of dog experience, with our foundational experience dating back to the 1990s in German Shepherds, and a dedicated focus on Staffordshire Bull Terriers from 2015 onward. Our breeding program is guided by a strong commitment to breed preservation. We prioritise correct breed type, stable and reliable temperament, and long-term soundness above all else. Each litter is carefully planned, with a clear purpose behind every pairing, and we focus diligently to ensure our puppies receive individual attention, appropriate development, and lifelong support. The majority of our breeding stock are titled Australian Champions, with several champions proudly living with us. We are active participants in canine exhibition and Staffordshire Bull Terrier specialty shows across Queensland and New South Wales, where our dogs have consistently achieved strong results, including regular class wins and specialty placings. Our dogs are drawn from carefully selected pedigrees incorporating American, UK, Spanish, Norwegian, Polish, Australian, and Czech lines, with ongoing efforts to thoughtfully expand and strengthen our bloodlines. Health testing is non-negotiable at Cuddleston—our Staffords are Orivet Full Breed Profile tested and clear of L2-HGA, Hereditary Cataracts (HC), and Degenerative Myelopathy (DM). We welcome enquiries from families, canine exhibitors, and established breeders who share our respect for the breed. Puppy placements are approached with care, and we place strong emphasis on matching the right puppy to the right home. Experience with dogs is always considered, but guidance and support are provided where needed, particularly for first-time Stafford owners.
